The South Jordan Real Estate market continued to struggle in January 2011. While the number of homes sold was only slightly down, dropping from 41 to 40, the average sales price dropped from $293,176 to $269,269, a 8.88% decline. Those homes that were selling were also taking longer to sell, with the average days on market standing at 110 days.

Like much of the U.S., home prices in the Salt Lake area continued to come under price pressure in 2010. While home prices never increased at the same rate as other areas of the country, and we have never had the same degree of foreclosures, the Salt Lake Housing  Market has still been hit by the downturn, and continues to show signs of weakness.
