I am the business manager and licensed agent for the Mountain Living team, in Frisco, Colorado. Our town was named by miners who came to Colorado from California during the gold rush. Naming places after their hometowns must have made them feel less homesick. Many of the old mining claims around here have women's names, as the miners named them after girlfriends and wives. Frisco still has many old historic structures but it is now a mix of vacation homes, condos, gift shops and restaurants. We are only seven minutes from Copper Mountain, so we have a ski area of our own
