Is Ma Bell a thing of the past? - 08/18/08 04:46 PM
Not just Ma Bell, or the Bell systesm, but regular line phones versus the Internet phones with VOIP.
I have a regular phone from Verizon (a Ma Bell spin off) It costs me for all the bells and wistles $ 90 per month
My VOPI phone is the house (VONAGE) is $ 35.00 per month
and now T-Molbile is $ 10 per month
Will they eventually pay us to make phoen calls.
www.voip.com is one we have at a vacation phone and it is an annual charge of $ 200 and thats it

I have been a cell phone user for over 5 years.
My first phone cost me $ 1,795.00 with a $ 99 pr month plan. No free minutes and $ 1.59 per minute usage.
The phone was 17 lbs, and the battery was 4 lbs alone.
It would be thought of today as a deadly weapon
How many of you still have these old phones.
I am thinking of sending mine to the Smithsonian for posterity.
My main question is which service do you like best?

I have seen here and on other sites, information about Google Phones.
What I have found is that Google has no plans for a new phone.
They, however have developed operating software to make the existing phones out there better.
I am not sure how far they have gotten, and plan to download one of the beta versions.
For software developers, they are awarding up to 10 Million dollars for the best programs.
Again, this is what the You-Tube Blog says.

There are many levels of inspections to derive energy usage levels and what can be achieved with minimal refitting, renovations and improvements.
As a realtor, is it waht your buyers would want to know and your sellers whould what to see as to their home, before and when they sell or buy.
Unlike Energy Audits with expensive blower testing, is is reasonable to keep the cost of an energy inspection, with Infrared Technology, Thermal Camera equipment, Temperature reads, etc, for under $ 500.00
