supprime: 100 Major U.S. Lenders have now gone under since late 2006 - 07/20/07 05:42 PM

While I am sure that everybody is tired of hearing about the sub-prime meltdown. It looks like this is now spreading over to the Alt-A lenders as well. Since June 1st of this year, 13 Alt-A lenders from wholesale to retail have closed their doors. In total over 100 lenders have now gone under since late 2006. While I hate to see a business have to close its doors, one can only see this as an opportunity to distinguish themselves from the rest.
