Every month those of you that read my blog know I like to put together my local Real Estate reports in a number of towns around the Metrowest area including Hopkinton, Holliston, and Ashland Massachusetts. After working on my reports over the last few days I saw something that came as somewhat of a mild surprise. Sales in the month of November were up substantially year over year as compared to 2008! It comes as no surprise that Westboro, Hopkinton, and Holliston have once again been named to Boston Magazines prestigious list of the best public schools in Massachusetts. Hopkinton Massachusetts has just been named to the Money Magazines prestigious list of the best places to live in the US for 2009! Not only did Hopkinton make the list but they broke the top 20 coming in at #19. The annual issue of Boston Magazines Best Places To Live 2009 has just been released and Hopkinton Massachusetts has made the list. According to the article Hopkinton was grouped into the "The Teflon Ten" which is the ten towns that are perceived according to statistical analysis to be primed for take off once the market starts making it's way back up again. Hopkinton Ridge is a decent size Hopkinton Massachusetts neighborhood consisting of 31 homes situated on the West side of Hopkinton off of Lumber Street. Canterbury is a small Hopkinton Massachusetts cul-de-sac neighborhood consisting of nine homes nestled on a nice piece of land overlooking part of Lake Maspenock. Canterbury is located off of West Elm Street just past the Circa 1700 Country Village neighborhood. Hearthstone is a fantastic Hopkinton Massachusetts neighborhood located off of Ash Street near the center of town. There are 27 homes located in this convenient Hopkinton neighborhood. Hearthstone Road and Carriage Hill Road are the Streets that compromise this subdivision. Hearthstone was approved in the mid 1990's under the Hopkinton Open Space by-law (OSLPD).
