New Harris County Flood Maps Due in May! - 04/27/07 12:56 PM
Harris County is having all area flood maps re-zoned. The new maps are due out May 10th. Some areas will change flood planes (some will be going from 500 year flood to 100 year flood). If you already carry flood insurance you will be grandfathered in to the lower rates. If your rate goes down you can call your insurance company and get them to adjust for the lower rate.
