First things first...a bunch of places all along the Space Coast are called Bizzarro...the ONLY one I am reviewing is the location at the very end of 5th Ave in Indialantic...right on the beach! The others have mixed results at best with some not worth reviewing at all.
That being said...The Original Bizzarro New York Pizza on 5th Ave is without question the best pizza on the Space Coast (the best cheese pizza, best white pizza...and best Sicilian pizza). I love all kinds of food...I work out 5 to 6 days a week just so I can eat all the time! One of my favorite activities is to find new places to eat...and if they happen to cover multiple cuisines...all the better!
Sakura Japanese Buffet is just such a place. Although the name would give you the idea it is Japanese food only...it actually has many types of food on it's enormous buffet area. I love Sushi. It is one of those cuisines I am willing to travel a distance to eat.
Thankfully Thai Thai II located in Indialantic at the corner of A1A and Paradise Beach is not only really good Sushi...it has a great beachside location directly across A1A from Paradise Beach Park...in the same plaza as Ichabod's and Bunky's.

The Jungle is an interesting local business that is located in Indialantic, FL...directly across from the Atlantic Ocean (about 1/2 mile south of Eau Gallie Blvd) on Hwy A1A. It is part really good organic restaurant and well stocked organic market.
This is a place I often stop by for lunch...and then stock up on some organic vegetables and other needs like organic beer and wine, gluten free items...and even organic pet foods.

We have many fine Pizza restaurants on the Space Coast (because of the large influx of residents from the East Coast) most of them produce really good thin sliced New York style pizza (my favorite). Pizza Gallery & Grill has a different take on pizza. They have been producing California style pizza right here in the Melbourne area for over 20 years...think California Pizza Kitchen...only much better.
For starters the restaurant is located in The Avenues Mall in the Master Planned Community of Viera...just west of I-95 and Wickham Rd. The 260 seat restaurants is separated into a bar area as well … (1 comments)

Some of the best places to eat are not on the beaten path...they are a little out of the way...and sometimes even a bit of a struggle to find. When you do get there you remember why you were willing to take the drive! Cafe Coconut Cove in Melbourne Beach, FL is just such a place.

A new restaurant just opened up a few days ago on 5th Ave (Rt 192) in Indialantic and it is a Carolina style BBQ / Norfolk hot dog joint called Max & Porky's. I decided to head there for lunch today and review it for my readers (and of course because I am in love with Carolina BBQ)!

Having grown up in the New York City metro area...I love Chinese food (well...food in general). I must admit the Space Coast has a couple of fairly good Chinese restaurants to dine in...but for take out or Delivery beachside my absolute favorite is Golden Dragon at 291 East Eau Gallie Blvd in Indian Harbour Beach.

Let me start by saying the Chart House is one of my favorite places to eat on the Space Coast. I say this because the Chart House is a chain restaurant...and I rarely write about....or even like Chains. They tend to be sanitized versions of places we all grew up with...and these sanitized versions tend to pale in comparison to the originals.
The Chart Hose decided to chart (no pun intended) a different course. I have been to five Chart House restaurants throughout the U.S. and they all have certain things in common:

Sandbar Pizza Grill is an interesting restaurant worth a mention for those in the area...but First it is located in Melbourne Beach, FL on Ocean Ave (300 Ocean Ave in Melbourne Beach, 32951 for those with a GPS).It is the road that jogs (left) off Highway A1A.

No one would deny Duffy's is a sports bar...the place is loaded with spprts helmets, pictures and memorobilia...some very cool stuff as well (if your a sports fan). With any sports bar we come to expect certain things....lots of large screen TV's...check. Cold beer that is easy to get...check. A menu filled with sports bar favorites like burgers and chicken wings...check. All that being said Duffy's is just an average place to see a game...not your second choice (to having live event tickets). Duffy's is a South Florida Chain...in fact the only Duffy's above Port St Lucie is in Melboure.

There are a couple of good places to get a cheese Steak sandwich on the Space Coast...my favorite is Philly's Finest on Eau Gallie Blvd in Indian Harbour Beach.
Philly's makes a traditional Cheese Steak that cant be beat...but they also offer a great chicken cheese steak, a pizza steak (steak sandwich with pizza sauce), good burgers, great..will seasoned fries...and a about a million ways to offer chicken cutlets, eggplant, Italian sandwiches and more!

If you have not checked out a map to search the area...take a look out how large Brevard County is! In the very southern portion of the County is Sebastian. It sits on the river and many of it's residents love the great Indian River views. For those of us a little further north we love to head to Sebastian on the weekend...mostly because of Capt Hiram's Resort.

We live in a warm weather climate here on the Space Coast. This tends to allow good ice cream shops to thrive...and they usually do. In Indialantic a long time institution has been Moo's Soft Serve on A1A (between the 5th Ave and Eau Gallie).
This place will make you feel like you just hopped off a time machine and landed in 1970. Off the Traxx is a sports bar/restaurant/pizza joint in Historic Downtown Melbourne. This is a large place with lots of seating, bar seats...and plenty of space to dance.
Off the Traxx seems to be a starting point for many of the locals who eat at Off the Traxx...get a couple of beers...watch the end of a basketball or baseball game...and then head up the block to Matts, Foo Bar or Megs.
The food is a notch above your average sports bar and they have great specials including ladies night on Wednesday starting at 9pm.
