Within the last several weeks, our team has experienced an abnormal amount of deals falling apart...I can remember back 2 years ago when you could sign a contract and know that you were more than likely going to get to a closing table-even if you had to work some things out...In this volatile market, I am experiencing having to keep a much more watchful eye on situations and "rubbing more backs" telling them that it's going to be alright...Seriously though, trying to put a finger to it is almost impossible. As I get calls in our listings from buyers who are looking to gain information, I would say that 85% of the time they are NOT working with an agent. This is one of the biggest nonsensical decisions I come across in my position as a real estate professional.
