Pam's Blog Sparked a Thought Which got me thinking and my fingers typing. When it comes to customer service, how little do we really expect to recieve at some retailers? At Wal Mart you are pretty much on your own to schlep through the flourescent lit warehouse store where some items are too big to fit in your cart and No One works in "that" department. They are not Always Lower Prices, its a marketing strategy and the shoppers dont feel the need to change out of their pajamas before going there.

I know many people see the images of the oil spill issues in the Gulf of Mexico and think things are Grimm for the entire State of Florida. They are Not!! Tampa, Inverness, St. Petersburg, Dunedin, Tarpon Springs and many many coastal cities are just fine.

The Bill presented to the House called HR5623 has passed. The bill will extend the tax credit deadline for qualifying transactions Until September 30, 2010. The Bill is still set to move to the Senate where the Outcome of the vote is uncertain.
If you had a written, signed and accepted contract approved by the original tax deadline and still not have closed, you will be able to qualify for the tax credit if you close by September 30, 2010 should the Bill Pass the Senate. Some mornings I am so Darn Jazzed to get up grab my bucket of coffee and get working that I forget what time it is. Usually somewhere between 6am and 9am. I try not to make my phone calls until 10am so I dont sound like Boris Karloff on the line.
Well this morning I was going through the expired listings and doing all my little checks and getting the info into my expired book when one of the listings actually produced a phone number from reverse directory. It is that time of year again and this hurricane season will probably be no different from last, lots of storms and trips to safety and to that end, I offer the following suggestions:
For your home and family:
1. Flashlights (one per person) and extra batteries of varying sizes: D,C,AA, AAA and a battery-operated radio to follow storm alerts.
2. Replacement batteries - sufficient quantity to replace all battery-operated equipment for at least 3 days.
3. First aid kit.
4. Bottled Water for everyone in your household (enough for at least 5 days to use for personal hygiene, cooking, drinking, … (1 comments)

Today is the First Day of Hurricane Season.
If you are looking to buy a Home in Florida during the next 5 months this is something you should be aware of.
