Students In Need! - 07/28/11 09:42 AM
I remember BACK TO SCHOOL TIME as being a fun time to get new books and pencils and new backpack.  My Mom would take my brother and I to the department store and we would get new jeans and khakis and new shirts and a new fall jacket.   There are many Students who need a little help with their back to school supplies.  There is a surprising number of Homeless Students.

I urge everyone to donate whatever they can afford to any organization collecting Supplies for Students.  In Port Richey, Trinity, Hudson and New Port Richey Florida you can drop off supplies and … (2 comments)

Goofing Around at Universal Studios Orlando  Jaws Attacks!!                                                                                      .    Some Days we bring our Lap-Tops and Cell phones out by the pool to enjoy some fresh air and get some work done.  My Niece and Nephew are enjoying the pool on this day.  Florida is not all fun and games.  I work hard for my customers and it shows in everything I do.  We are just lucky enough to have great places to have fun and relax year round.

Keep Your Clients Hydrated and Happy - 07/20/11 10:25 AM
Let's face it, It Is HOT outside.  Here in Port Richey Florida it gets pretty darn humid along with the heat.  Tomorrow I have an appointment to show homes to a couple from up north.  When showing homes in the Summer months I like to be prepared and make my customers happy so the home viewings are enjoyable for everyone involved.

I have a little black insulated lunch bag that I pack when showing homes in Port Richey, Florida in the summertime.  I put bottled water in the "cooler" section with 2 freezer blocks and in the upper compartment I pack a … (2 comments)

Summer Vacation Home Saftey - 07/19/11 12:31 PM
Keeping your Home safe during your Summer Vacation is very important.  The best advice from Florida Law enforcement is to make your home appear to still be occupied.  There are a few easy steps you can take to help keep your home safe during your summer vacation.

Have your Newspaperplaced on hold for the weeks you are away.  Nothing says "nobodies home" like a pile of newspapers on the doorstep.
Have your Mail placed on vacation hold and tell your Mail carrier when you will be away so they can keep an eye on your home as they drive by … (4 comments)

The Greatest Compliment I Could Have Recieved - 07/15/11 10:51 AM
I am from the school of thought that Prospecting MUST be accompanied by Marketing. I am drawn to Marketing since it was my minor in College.  I send out letters and flyer's to expired listings, For Sale By Owners and For Rent By Owners and yes I have gotten listings this way or at the very least I get to preview FSBOS and get a commission agreement in place should I find a buyer.

This week I mailed out 6 Marketing Flyer's to For Rent by Owners.  I received a call yesterday from a very nice lady who told me she … (4 comments)

How Much Do You Really Know about Fair Housing? - 07/14/11 10:01 AM
While reading Jeanne Gavish's Blog I was inspired to give my 2 cents on a similar topic.  When advertising or marketing yourself and your business presenting yourself as "one of you" to a group is just wrong.  On the flip side, Hiring someone based on the "one of us" attitude is wrong and actually not wise.  Hiring the best person for the job is important.  Do not hire your Broker or Agent based on a fish on their business card or a rainbow or any other groups symbol.  Just because you share the same faith or you are both gay or … (4 comments)

Renters are SCARED!! - 07/13/11 09:00 AM
I list homes for rent in Pasco County Florida as well as for sale and I will work with a buyer or two.  When a person or family calls me from one of my Rental Signs I immediatly try to assist them in getting a home that fits their need.  Sometimes it is Not the one I have listed.  We talk and get to know each other and I build a relationship with them when I can.  I do get a lot of "Ok, thanks" and click.
Lately while having these conversations I have noticed a trend.  Quality Renters are SCARED TO RENT … (5 comments)
