Ever wonder where that sign is?
If you put it in the wrong spot, Yuba county/Cal Trans will remove it for you without notification.
I am only referencing the directional signs I have posted and I know, I know, don't post them w/in so may feet of the road as to interfere with they're easements. I specialize and live in the Yuba Foothills where we have 5 acre minimums. It is not always easy to find properties as there are many unmarked/unpaved or gravel roads and not every property is a 5 ac piece. We need our directionals.

Sutter County, CA - Get your flood Insurance now while it's still affordable - 08/28/07 12:55 AM
Sutter county has reports of putting out a new map and re-zoning the area that will be considered by FEMA to now require mandatory flood insurance. Some say it will likely just be South Yuba City, Sutter County. And some say it will be all of Sutter county. Who knows but why take a chance..... read on.
Sutter county residents should be buying up their flood insurance now -vs- later If the zoning changes in their area and they are caught with out flood insurance  the rates are likely to be too high for most to afford.

Reduced flood plane and reduced insurance rates in Yuba County, CA - 08/25/07 09:46 PM
Portions of Linda Removed from 100-year Floodplain Posted 7/27/2007
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has just released a Letter Of Map Revision (LOMR) that has removed portions of Linda from the 100 year floodplain (Flood Zone "A"). This new LOMR may reduce your flood insurance rates; we recommend contacting your insurance provider for details on their requirements.
