Things will be changing on my profile, my header and such as well, so keep a look out for that. Chris and I, have also talked about doing something else as well and we have started that too. Just

Medical Help“Everybody I meet is so irritating!,” a tense, nervous patient complained to her doctor. After analyzing the situation, he prescribed a tranquilizer and told her to come back in a month and let him know how she was feeling.“Have you noticed any change in your mental attitude?” he asked on her next visit.“None at all!” she replied. “I feel just the same as I did, but I’ve noticed that other people are acting a lot better.” Good lawyers Nathan is talking to his lawyer. “Here’s the deal, Frank. Efficiency ExpertThe efficiency expert concluded his lecture with a note of caution, "You don't want to try these techniques at home"."Why not?" asked somebody from the audience."I watched my wife's routine at breakfast for years," the expert explained. "She made lots of trips between the refrigerator, stove, table and cabinets, often carrying a single item at a time. One day I told her, Hon, why don't you try carrying several things at once to save work and time?""Did it save much time?" the guy asked."Actually yes, it use to take her 20 minutes to make breakfast, now I do it in

marey hoeppner: Why Outsource Your business - 02/28/08 09:05 AM
Let me start by saying, I don't like to stretch things out. I like to get my point made very quickly. Why? Simple. You know and I know that something that takes to long to read can make us lose interest fairly quickly. Then I have wasted time writing it, you have lost time trying to read it all and the point doesn't get made. So let's continue with the outsourcing, shall we.Usually people hear the word "outsource" and think its dealing with big things like manufacturers, call centers, companies of this nature. "Outsource" really means hiring someone from outside your

Granny's Pie!Granny Adams made such beautiful pies! One day I asked her, "How do you get such beautiful pies with crimps around the edge spaced so evenly?""Well, it's a family secret," she said, "But if you promise not to tell anyone, I'll let you in on it.""Okay," I said, "Tell me!""Well, first, I roll out the dough, making sure it is flat and even. Then I cut out the bottom layer and carefully put it in the pie plate and make sure it is pressed firmly against the side of the plate. Then I pour in the filling, making sure it's

Okay, let's see if you all can figure out the riddles below. I will post my answers in a few days, so have fun guessing! 1. You heard me before, yet you hear me again. Then I die,'til you call me again. What am I? 2. There is a man standing over a body in a coffin, and another man walks in and asks, "Who's in the coffin?" The first man replies, "Brothers and sisters, I have none, but this man's father is my fathers son." Whos in the coffin? 3. There are two guards. One tells the truth and one always lies. There are

marey hoeppner: Wait! Don't Clear Out That Database! - 02/23/08 08:53 PM
Okay, I know your going to have to clean it out at some point, however; all to often I have seen or heard of others just deleting, removing, erasing potential clients. Don't! Not yet anyway. I know that is the easy way out, the quick and simple thing to do. Just think about this......alright, so the e-mail address is undeliverable. That doesn't mean they are no longer interested, now does it? Let me ask you... What if they moved or changed emails for some reason and just simply didn't remember to update their information? This happens a lot! What if they are still

marey hoeppner: What have I been doing....Take a look! - 01/27/08 01:50 PM
As most of you know, I have been at home with my son this past month. He is doing better, but no new bone is growing yet and goes in for x-ray's weekly. Hopefully, he will be able to go into a shorter cast soon. He struggles to do things now and being in a shorter cast will help him and make me feel better. It is hard watching him struggle and knowing there is nothing I can do except keep him comfortable. The good thing about me being home is I have been able to work on getting my Virtual Assistant

marey hoeppner: Can You Hear Me Now? - 01/18/08 08:16 AM
Whenever I hear the word Networking, I think of the guy in that commercial for Verizon Wireless. I guess that is why I used that for a title. It is important to be able to keep in touch with those in your Network and to be able to contact new ones. Networking isnt about how many people you know, its about how many people know you! Collaborating with others, whether it be customers, generating leads, interviewing for a job, etc. this is what makes you successful over time in sales. Don't just limit yourself to the industry your in, be open to meeting

marey hoeppner: I'm Replacings My Customers - 01/09/08 08:42 PM
Alright, you have a irritable customer in your business that decides they don't want to be your customer any longer. What do you do now??? LET THEM GO! A rule of thumb, I don't care what business you have, not one single customer is not REPLACEABLE. Just let them go and be on your way. They are not worth the hassle or headache. That's right, I said hassle or headache. I am not saying that all customers are like this, because they aren't. Some will complain for the simple fact, THEY DON'T WANT TO BE YOUR CUSTOMER or because that is

marey hoeppner: How is your Database, Doing? - 01/08/08 11:06 AM
I have heard several times that it costs more to get new customers than it does to keep the old ones. However, despite this most businesses spend huge amount of money stalking, chasing and hounding new customers. Why do that? It is much more beneficial to reward old customers instead. Believe it or not, rewarding your old customers will make it worth your while! It encourages them to keep loyal to you and trust me you keep them happy, they will spread your name out there all over town like spreading butter on a slice of bread. The first
