Oceana Key Biscayne, a 250 Million Luxury Condo Development on the beach breaks ground on St. Valentine's Day!

Yes, its true is finally here, for years we have wondered what is going to happen to the former Sonesta Hotel site on Key Biscayne and now it has been unveiled and it has a name. Oceana Key Biscayne just broke ground and will become the first development after a decade of "Construction Silence"in Key Biscayne, Miami Florida.

Oceana promises to be a modern sleek design very different from the other condominiums in the Island such as Ocean Club with its mediterranean architecture. Oceana will share the same lobby for its fourteen story twin towers will have beach cabanas, a large swimming pool, palm tree boulevard leading to the beach and above all high quality, if not the best, materials will be used in the making of this new masterpiece in Key Biscayne.

The developer Consultatio is new to this grounds, but an experienced real estate developer from Argentina with a 30 years of experience developing high end planned communities and residential condo towers such as Puertos del lago, Las Garzas in Uruguay, Nordelta which may sound familiar to south american buyers. Consultatio   bought this lot back in 2009 for $80 Millions and now Oceana at Key Biscayne will cost an estimated of $250 Millions to built. With a cost like this and the superb location we are looking probably at unit prices starting in the $2 or $3 Millions range my guess since prices has not been released to the public yet.
