Flatbush Brooklyn is filled with great historic sites one being Flatbush Town Hall  which  was built in 1874-1875 and is a two story masonry building on a stone foundation in the Gothic Revival style. It has  a three story  bell tower  with a steep hip roof. After  the village of Flatbush became part of the City of Brooklyn in 1894, the building served as a magistrate's court, a police station.
