Day 73 of 365 Things To Do In Alamogordo . . . - 10/22/10 03:36 PM
On your way up to the mountain on HWY. 82 you will drive through High rolls and about a mile east of the tunnel is a little shop called The Tunnel Stop". I have been guilty of driving by this little store on several occaions, well finally we stopped. And bo what a great little surpise.
You will find a a variety of items displayed throughout the building to include local handmade property, hanwoven rugs, blankets, sterling silver & turquoise jewelry, hand woven combs, carved woodedn & metal structures, etc. . . . this is just a few … (2 comments)

Social Networking does it make you more social? - 10/15/10 11:31 PM
The other night my husband and I had a discussion about how people (including us) forget about the person sitting across from us because we are to busy checking our phones/computers to see who has posted what on facebook, twitter, etc. My questions is are you always on or do you know how to shut it out to give 100% of your attention when you are in a face to face conversation?
I know I have been guilty and I am sure you have to . . . we all get so wrapped up in social networking that we forget … (24 comments)

Our office had another office caravan today, we where able to see 4 new listings today.
The first one was at 1423 New York and is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home listed at $75,000.
Our second stop was at 2617 St. Andrews 3 bedroom 2 bathroom for $249,900.
Then we visited 1908 Dewey a 3 bedroom 1 3/4 bathroom home for only $128,500.

What's for dinner? Maybe you should go out and try Casa De Suenos New Mexican Restaraunt located at 35 St. Francis Drive in Tularosa! You can reach them at 575.585.3494.
Casa De Suenos is open seven days a week. There is a lunch buffet Monday - Friday and on Sundays they have a brunch.
They offer a nice variety of mexican food that serves lunch and dinner. They also are avaliable for banquest, patio dining, and they have a cute gift shop.
My experience here has always been pleasant and the food always good. I cannot wait to hear your thoughts.

Whats a work week? - 10/11/10 10:35 PM
This morning when I did my routine check into facebook, I read a post by a friend who said they we being attacked by the Mondays! Had to laugh as we all know what he was referring to, but it got me thinking. Why is it that so many of us are always going I have the case of the Mondays, or hump day is here, and/or TGIF . . . I guess if you have a career and/or job that is known as the normal Monday thru Friday, it makes sense.

Columbus Day represents teh day Christopher Columbus found what we now call The United States of America. Since it is an official holiday, several business will be closed today in observence of Columbus Day. How do you celebrate Columbus Day? Do you do something special or is it just another day for you? For me October represents the begining of fall. Fall is one of the four seasons; it transitions us from summer into winter. It is one of my favorite seasons as it brings cooler weather and a brilliant change of color to nature.
Fall is the perfect time to slow down and enjoy life. This is also a great time of year to finish up all those last minute projects. Then you can get a head start on getting things in order for the cold winter months, because before we know it the holidays will be here.

Big Dadyy's Diner in Cloudcroft New Mexico has a something on the menu that should please all. This is a great place to stop and have lunch, I haven't had dinner here yet, but I am sure it is just as good. I like their posole; it always seems to hit the spot with me. Their green chili cheeseburgers are good too.
They are open seven days a week, all day! You don't have to worry about stopping here for a late lunch - they will be open! The service here has always been super friendly and easy going! Be sure … (0 comments)
