Today at Affinity Real Estate, LLC we had our first office pot luck of the year. As you can tell by the title the theme was soup & sandwiches; and we had a nice selection of four different soups, 3 different types of sandwiches aka panini’s, cornbread, and a salad to make sure we all ate our veggies. This was a great time for all of us at Affinity to sit down together and talk. Nothing like good food to help you catch up on what is going on in each others lives outside the world of real estate; and (2 comments)
One of the nice things about being in real estate is being self employed. You get to be your own boss; make your own work hours; and decide if you want to work from home, the office, and/or where ever your needed. When choosing a to work with a real estate professional I think it is important to find out how they work. Do they have regular office hours? or do they strictly work from a home office? Are they easily accessible? How quickly do they return calls? emails? text messages? Regardless of where your real estate professional hangs their hat every day (home or (4 comments)
As I put the finishing touches on my business plan/goals for 2011, I have to take a look a close look at 2010. For me 2010 was a success, even thought I did not meet my goals 100%; but success for me is not defined by numbers and dollar figures. It is about being able provide my clients with the information they need so they can make the best real estate decisions for themselves, as well as providing them with the best customer service I can.
