Tom Branch of Plano Texas Real Estate covers a fabulous topic here. We frequently tell our owners to make sure they leave the lights on and blinds open for showings.
I'll share that many buyers or tenants ideal homes are OPEN & BRIGHT! This is hard to pull off with the CFL lightbulbs. They get to a decent brightness when warmed up, but take a while. Unfortunately, the first impression wrill be a darker home. I can't tell you the importance of using the more costly electric bulbs while you have your home on the market.
