active rain: Social Integration - 08/16/11 01:03 PM
In case you haven't seen/noticed this yet, AR has included "social integration" for all our blog posts. Yay!
This makes it easier for your readers to share/like/tweet all your blog posts (you can too!) thereby adding to your exposure.
Thanks, AR!

Our team has been hard at work developing a painless way to syndicate your content and stay connected.  May I introduce to you, Social Integration.  Sounds like a hard core rock n' roll band to me but it's something much more.
I hope all of you use Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.  Google + is a the new kid … (7 comments)

active rain: RainCamp Los Angeles | Its Raining Information! - 05/16/10 06:02 PM
I was one of the lucky ones (lucky and smart!) to be able to attend RainCamp Los Angeles yesterday. It was well worth the investment of time and money. Besides getting to meet and hang-out with a terrific group of Los Angeles real estate professionals (a big shout out to the men and women who traveled from as far away as Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta and New Jersey!) I got a head full of new information to incorporate into my blogging and social media efforts. I took away great info to propel my Los Angeles home staging business to a higher level. … (39 comments)

active rain: Selling Apples? Talk to the oranges: Finding networks, clients and customers in unlikely places - 01/06/09 12:30 PM
I'm reblogging this post, not only for the obvious reason that Julie featured me in the post, but also because it is a powerful demonstration of the value of going outside your comfort zone to find new clients and an audience. I first met Julie on Twitter (@WritingRoads) and I'm so glad we hooked up.

active rain: Closing In On 80,000 Points! - 10/15/08 06:10 PM
OK, so I'm 30,000 points late. I just found out about The Active Rain Bronze Star Hall of Fame group by reading a post by Missy Caulk Platinum Hall of Fame............another milestone . Until reading Missy's post, I was unaware these groups existed.
As of this moment in time, I've got 77,640 points and I am fast closing in on 80,000, which I hope to do by this weekend:o)) I have really enjoyed earning every one of those points, and look forward to the next 80,000. Now that I have this blogging thing down, hopefully I will get the next 80,000 faster … (25 comments)

active rain: Hey Blogging Queens & Kings, is it better to write my blog in MS Word first? - 04/21/07 12:07 PM
Inquiring minds want to know: To all those Blogging Queens & Kings, is it better (and easier) to write my blog in Word first and then just copy & paste it to AR? Or am I better off just writing it on the AR blog composition page? If I want to add photos, can I do that with the copy & paste method in Word, or do I have to add the photos after I have already pasted into the AR blog composition page and upload them there? Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge and your kind assistance. … (22 comments)
