This week we staged a very beautiful new construction, luxury home at 408 N. Altura Rd., Arcadia, CA 91007. The home has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, and yes, we staged every single room! Staging a house this large takes a lot of planning, skill and a very large inventory of appropriate furniture, artwork and accessories. I love staging big, beautiful homes in Arcadia because once we are done staging, I get to take big, beautiful staging photos of the home. Last week, I was asked to do a home staging bid on a home in Arcadia, CA, that was located in an area of Arcadia known for its free roaming peacocks, near the LA County Arboretum. I stage many homes in Arcadia and am often asked about feng shui and peacocks.
The peacock is the official city bird of Arcadia and a picure of a peacock is displayed on street signs and the official city seal.

Top luxury Arcadia home staging company, Moving Mountains Design, was hired to stage a beautiful new construction Arcadia home last week. We started staging it last week, but had to take a break to allow the builder to finish construction. This Arcadia pool home, besides being stunning has a great floorplan plus many extras. There is a huge finished basement media room, and a wine cellar! The cabinetry, tile work and finishes are masterful. Los Angeles home staging company, Moving Mountains Design, was hired to stage this gorgeous Arcadia home last week.
It's brand new construction, approximately 6,000 sq. ft. with 5 bedroom suites, 5 1/2 bathrooms. We staged the entire downstairs including the entry, living room, family room, dining room, breakfast area, 2 kitchens, pantry, butler's pantry, family room/great room, formal office and downstairs bedroom suite. Upstairs we staged another family room, a second bedroom suite, a wet bar, the Master bedroom and bath.

Arcadia home staging helps sell home on the evening of the first open house. The owner/agent didn't even have time to get the sign up!
After sitting on the market for several weeks, with no offers (not even low ball offers) the owner/agent decided to stage this cute cottage in hopes of getting it to sell. He had gotten one of our brochures from another house we had staged in the area, and the listing agent on that house sang our praises. Last week, Moving Mountains Design was hired to stage a 7,000 sq. ft. new construction home in Arcadia, CA. One of my assistants was in the hospital (thankfully she is on the mend and will be back at work next week), one assistant was on vacation in Brazil, and one assistant had to fly up to Sacramento to take care of her mother who had a stroke. If there were such an award, I think I would have a pretty good crack at it, although my friend Jo Potvin of Design to Market in Cincinnati, OH would give me a run for my money (Take a Peak at our Warehouse).
