The first time homebuyer tax credit is extended for some members of the military. - 04/26/10 03:37 PM
Time has almost run out for most people to take advantage of the Federal tax credit for first time home buyers.
HOWEVER - some members of the military and certain other federal employees, may qualify for a one year extension to April 30th 2011.
It applies to any individual and/or their spouse who serves on a qualified extented duty service outside of the United States for at least 90 days during the period beginning after Dec 31, 2008 and ending before May 1, 2010.
