It seems there has been a great turnout in early voting...it's been so crowded that Every early voting site in the state will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. through Friday, October 31st, and for a total of 12 hours between 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1st, and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2nd. Check your local voting location. I was thinking this morning I might go vote...until I felt the temperature outside...45 degrees, are you kidding me? Last week I was supposed to close on a contract.....Hooray! Well it seems there were a few delays...I can't blame the buyer...or the selling agent..or the loan officer.....there is no point in blaming.. The reality is... Approved for a loan? You better close quickly because guidelines seem to be changing every day! While the loan was approved...a few conditions popped up...not extraordinary conditions but conditions you would not expect for an A + borrower. It hit me today like a slap in the face after having yet another conversation with a consumer about real estate! Every day I have real estate conversations outside of working...then again...in my mind...its my profession...I am always on...let them ask me rather than one of the other "so called experts."
Today's conversation hit me hard, I told the gentleman, "If you do not have to sell to buy then yes it is a great time to buy!" In his mind, he was waiting...waiting until 2009 to see what happens with the market because that is what the so called experts are … (61 comments)

The past few days have been so hectic but very productive. Ahhhh, the feeling of accomplishment....a job well done! Just like my voice-mail I check my e-mails just as often sometimes more! I have been playing in the blogosphere a little more than usual. Setting up profiles, starting my own personal blog and just plain reading and registering all over the place. One thing I have noticed the more I do the more spam I get. So glad I have it separated. In most instances its helpful.

I personally do not enjoy name tags, I was a grocery store manager in my past, imagine checking 50 associates for name tags every day! That was part of my job for 5 very long years. In retail, name tags are as important as wearing shoes! After leaving retail I attempted to be rebellious: "I AM NOT WEARING A NAME TAG! NEVER AGAIN!" I threw it away....Celebrating my departure from retail.
