yahoo: Collaboration - Surprised - Why - 05/04/14 12:49 AM
If you check search results often times you will find the big dogs....REALTOR.com, Homes.com, Yahoo.com, Zillow and Trulia/Activerain before you see any agent websites.  I call them big dogs at least for real estate and they have one thing in common.  Collaboration.
Most agents are on these sites including their bios, their own websites and especially their listings..when you do things collectively...there is plenty of room for success...more opportunity of exposure..and increase the odds of selling listings.
Years past I have always made predictions of the internet to myself..at times I would share and at the same time be laughed … (17 comments)

It was a close call..
I almost changed my plan of action once again.
I watch this stuff...very closely.
Just a few minutes ago, I was pleasantly surprised it was the first time I received a google alert for my outside blog from Activerain.
Lesson Learned:

yahoo: It's Out...I Am In A Book! "The Human Behind the Avatar"...And You Can Own It Too! - 12/10/07 12:19 PM
I have been participating in some outside activities...outside of Activerain...when I do that I feel like I am having an affair. I will say because of Activerain many awesome opportunities have come my way.
Not long ago I received a couple of e-mails from fuelmyblog to participate in the book, the great part was it was to be published in hard cover or paperback. Imagine Me, Midori Miller, in a book and being connected with fuelmyblog and yahoo.com. To me a pretty smart move.
The proceeds would go to worthy charity. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières As this was going on … (25 comments)

yahoo: Activerain Fad OR Activerain Pioneers? - 12/01/07 04:05 AM
I have made Internet marketing a huge part of my day.  More now than ever...because I am getting prepared.  See for some the web may come easy and you have no problem keeping up on things but for me sometimes I really struggle.
Struggle with my mindset, habits and most of all lack of looking at the future..it's the present so many of us focus on.  I am one of those people.

The Internet is an amazing thing.  It's communication, it's efficient and allows us to do more every single day.
I now order take out on line, bank on-line and … (56 comments)

yahoo: My 3 Week Online Experiment and a Few Practical Things I Learned! - 11/18/07 03:12 AM
Preparing for a training requires a lot of work. While the computer scientist helps along the way in placing me in the right direction, he cannot help me in my presentation or my words or even much of the research.
My results at the end of the 3 weeks were awesome but most importantly taught me I need to make some adjustments once again.  Let me share a few practical things I have learned....
As a profession,we sometimes hurt our own images by what we put out into the public.  I have read more posts, looked at more outside blogs … (18 comments)

yahoo: Midori...Midori...Midori... - 05/24/07 05:21 PM

When I was a little girl I hated my name! It was unique and hard to pronounce. I knew if someone wrote Midori on the bathroom wall at school that they were talking about me.
People would ask me what kind of name is that? I have heard of that before?  What does that mean?
AAAAAhhh, here we go again, I would have to explain it means green in Japanese.  It was a Japanese name for a girl. OK, we have Midori Liquor ,  The ice skater, Midori and Midori the violinist!  OK you get it lots and lots of Midori's.

yahoo: Excellent Business Practices Produces Good Results!!! Part 1 - 01/28/07 09:30 AM
When starting my career in Real Estate in the early 90’s I was told to make sure and have at least 1 year in savings to start my new venture.    I ended up selling my first property after 9 months of being in the business, 2 companies later and taking 3 unsaleable  listings .  After blowing through all my savings and spending it on senseless real estate tools I became frustrated.  My biggest mistake was starting out with the wrong company, depending on floor time and most of all spending my hard earned cash on real estate products that I … (31 comments)
