Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson announced the U.S. Government has take control of Mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, ousting their CEO's and guaranteeing that the companies will stay afloat to continue buying mortgages from banks that lend money to consumers. Paulson announced that the take over was an action necessary to the recovery of our economy and our housing markets.
