Economic growth better than expected - 12/25/10 10:23 AM
Economic Growth Exceeds Forecast A rash of favorable economic reports, including a jump in consumer spending and a drop in layoffs, are offering hope for a pickup. Moreover, new Commerce Department data show U.S. gross domestic product grew 2.6 percent in the third quarter — not 2.5 percent as initially reported. Jacksonville Foreclosures a large portion of SOLD - 12/20/10 05:39 PM
In Jacksonville, foreclosures made up 36% of the SOLD homes in November. In North East Florida 853 single family homes changed hands with 306 of them being bank owned. 
The highest priced property that sold was oceanfront in Neptune Beach at $1,335,000 (below) and the lowest believe it or not $2500...yea I said $2500 (not a type o)

Sooo.....your a buyer but you've been waiting for the bottom of the interest rates to get here to buy........Too late!!!!

OMG...it's panic time!!!!!!!!!! Word on the street today is that if you are a buyer.....you should have purchased last month to get the lowest interest rates in history. Yes...they are gone now! Just when everyone was asking the question  "When is the bottom going to get here?" it happened. In the past week interest rates rose from 4.46 to 4.61. Small Business Jobs Act enacts new provision: 1099s will be required for 2011 payments
The recently enacted Small Business Jobs Act includes a provision related to reporting requirements of rental property expense payments. After Dec. 31, 2010, the new law requires those who receive rental income from real property to file 1099s with the IRS for service providers such as plumbers, painters and accountants, who receive more than $600 in payments over the course of the year.
