little italy: Bankers Hill Homes - 03/18/12 12:11 PM
When I think of Downtown San Diego neighborhoods, Little Italy, East Village, The Marina, and The Gaslamp come to mind. Often times it's easy to forget that Bankers Hill falls into our 92101 zip code. Maybe it seems a little removed from the other closely knit neighborhoods but it's a neighborhood to be explored, that's for sure. Let me start off by saying if you haven't been to Bankers Hill Bar and Restaurant you must go. Now. But that's not the only adventure you should take when exploring this very hip and historic neighborhood. It's the houses. Oh, the houses.

little italy: San Diego Restaraunt Week is Back...For Lunch Too! - 01/24/12 10:24 PM
Twice annually, restaraunts all over San Diego open their doors (and menus) to San Diego Restaurant Week and folks, it's here again. But, this time around they've added a little something different to the line-up: Lunch! That's right, lunch! I love it. Of the 180 restaurants participating this year a chunk of them have created a prix-fixe, two course menu for lunch time visitors. These menus range in price from $10, $15, or $20 depending on the restaurant. I've perused some of the lunch offerings of some of our very own Downtown San Diego eateries and let me say, they

little italy: Downtown San Diego - A Small City Within a Big City - 10/17/11 03:08 AM
When I tell friends, clients and acquaintances that don’t live in Downtown San Diego that I live in a city with 1.37 million people and that I don’t have a car…they look at me like I’m crazy. They ask; how do you get around? I say; I’m a Downtown San Diego Condo home owner and I walk everywhere. I have lived here for quite some time now and I rarely make it through a day where I don’t run into somebody that I know or recognize on the streets as I am doing my day to day routine. Well…crazy or not…Downtown San Diego is only
