Do you think dogs can be vindictive?  For the past 14 years I've been getting up at 4:15-4:30 am to run off and teach a Spinning® at a number of local gyms.  It has been good for my health, but I think there is one individual in our household that did not like being awakened so early.

OK, now my dog is plotting against all us now.  He gets fed first thing in the morning when he meets the first person rising.  He has figured out that the second, third and fourth people doesn't know that he has been fed so he does his little "I'm starving" dance as each family member appears.
This morning, he came back to my bedroom and started his dance there.  I'm normally the first one up, but I wasn't today.  So, he greeted me at the bedroom door, and the dance began.  When we cleared the open area of our house the … (10 comments)

OK, I recently had one of those "What was I thinking?" moments, and it reminded me of something.  When my wife was pregnant with our first son she received a piece of advice that I found extraordinary.  It went like this, "Don't do anything once that you don't want to do forever."  Of course we had no kids at the time, and we didn't realize how relevent that would be one day.
