The buyer acted like she won the Mega lottery! It went pending in 3 days! Just 6 months ago it would have been on the market for weeks, and it (0 comments)

Dad Why Do You Want a Rental? - 03/10/12 06:46 PM
When I was a very young boy, my parents had a house built. It was a 3,000 sq. ft. ranch style home with a full basement below it. I recall my father complaining to me, "How can I pay the mortgage? It's $289 a month, and that's not even counting the property tax! This was around 1970 as I recall. So my dad and mom decided to build an one bedroom apartment down below in the walk out basement with windows and a doorway that opened up into a patio area. Are We Facing Hyperinflation Or Hyperdeflation? - 03/04/12 10:22 AM
As a full time real estate agent in the San Luis Obispo real estate market, I have been watching local, national, and international trends for signs of where we are going with the market. As my loyal readers know I have been advising my moderate to low price buyers to buy now with inventories down and interest rates low. Also I have been recommending to investors to enter this market to purchase rentals. But I don't see a massive turn around of the market at anytime soon. So if you are going to hold the properties for years, it makes sense (4 comments)

Low Inventories Are Hurting Home Buyers in Portland Oregan Too - 03/02/12 08:10 AM
Here in the San Luis Obispo real estate market we are having real problems finding homes for the sub $300,000 buyers. I have noticed 4 major problems.
