Here is the weekend mortgage rate update for all my loyal readers.  We are seeing an upswing in buyers and a decrease in inventory.  Prices are starting to rise in San Luis Obispo County.  The only market that is still short is the high end market, but we are seeing more wealthy buyers from out of the area coming in with cash!  You got to love that!  Never have too many wealth residence!

cayucos: Where Are Californians Moving To? What States Are Their Destinations? - 07/17/12 07:23 PM
As many of you know California now has the largest exodus of any state,  from the "Golden State" to other states.  For years New York was number 1.  But now California is the top "loser" with over 1.6 million leaving the state every year.  Read my earlier blog for more details.  Could it be an coincidence that California is also voted as the most "business unfriendly" of all the states, and yes New York was 2nd. And quess what?  The top states they are going to are voted as having the best business environment.  Texas was voted the best business environment!

SACRAMENTO -- A historic, first-in-the-nation foreclosure-prevention measure is one step away from final passage in the California Legislature.
A two-house conference committee Wednesday, on a partisan 4-1 vote, sent identical measures to the floors of the state Assembly and Senate. Final votes are scheduled for Monday.
