I've found a brand new website that is just photography tutorials of all kinds. The website is Photogler.com
It was founded by Andy Beal who picks the images for the site from those put in his group on Flickr, "Photogler". It's only been going for a couple of months now, but every couple of days, Andy adds an image with descriptions of techniques used by the photographer. It's a great place to go to learn new techniques and also to get ideas for your next photo shoot!
Who knows - you just might see something there from someone you know. :-)

I've written about Zenfolio before (Zenfolio Photo Website Discount), so I won't go into all that it offers - just my new discovery!
One of the resources they offer is the ability to easily create an "Embeddable Slideshow". You get many options including:
Size and aspect ratio Background color Amount of time to display each image Kind of transition Plus several more After you've made your selections, you just click on the "Create Slideshow" button and it automatically generates the html code to copy and paste into your website - - or here at Activerain in a blog … (8 comments)

I've been looking for a good website to host my images.
I think I've found it in Zenfolio.
I wanted one that offered lots of storage of full sized images, reliable printing services, and a front end for selling prints. I did a lot of research in magazines and on the web, reading forums, articles, and reviews and Zenfolio was one that seemed to almost always get favorable mention. What tipped the balance for me though, was the fact they use Mpix for their primary print service. Mpix is also used by well known photographer, author, and magazine editor, Scott Kelby.

Well, I did it - I finally got professional help - - - help with my real estate website! I started a new group, today, to try and help us all make sense of all of this technology that is available to, hopefully, help us be better at what we do.
