You’re probably hearing and reading a lot about the current real estate market. Yes, this summer has seen the buyers’ market continue and has not been a fantastic one for sellers. July and August are typically very slow months in the real estate business so the general slowdown may seem more dire than it is. Allow me to hear your story. I’d like to hear why you think your house did not sell. Was there enough expertise? Was there enough interest? Was there enough energy and effort?
While every house is unique, here are some ideas, purely my opinion, of why a house doesn’t sell.
For ease of reading I’m going to break it up into five sections: price, location, condition, marketing, and access.
