Granite Countertops at one time were reserved for luxury homes, but more recently have been found in homes across the entire pricing spectrum.  A few years ago, I told a colleague that granite would become an expectation in entry-level homes in Cary very soon.  And I was met with disbelief.
But, today, we see that granite is for everyone.  We see granite kitchen counters as standard features in $150,000 affordable townhomes, and in some Cary resale homes in the low $100,000's.

Searching for hot tubs in Cary area homes can be rewarding.  Hot Tubs are not as common as they once were, but still are a desirable for many buyers.
And, when the hot tub is well-integrated into a nice in-ground swimming pool area, it is likely it will be regularly used.That "well-integrated" situation can be elusive.  Some properties have hot tubs and pools that appear to have been professionally planned when the home was built.  And, some properties show less evidence of good planning for the placement and use of those amenities.

Walking trails are very popular amenities in a town like Cary, NC, where access to open space, parks, and nature are valued.But, we tend to call them "Greenways" in Cary.  The Town of Cary Parks, Recreation and Cultrual Resources Department has a well-developed greenway system, with miles of trails around town, connecting parks and neighborhoods.

The Town system is augmented by neighborhood trails that offer recreational walking and biking to residents.  Many larger subdivisions will have their own trails for residents to use.

home search: Searching for Homes with 2nd Floor Laundry Rooms in Cary, NC - 01/19/11 12:34 PM
It seems that 2nd floor laundry rooms are becoming more common and more desirable in two story homes.  I have Buyers who request them.  With bedrooms on the second floor, having the laundry room there helps minimize carrying loads of clothes up and down stairs.  And in a home with a few kids, a second floor laundry can help keep the mess of daily living in one place, at least a little, sometimes, hopefully, well, you know, they are just kids....
