Re/Max of New York Inc. has announced the opening of Re/Max Custom, a full service real estate brokerage in Rochester. The company’s office will be located on Empire Boulevard and run by Mike Liess, a former associate broker for Re/Max First and former principal broker and owner of Custom Realty Group Inc.
“My vision for Re/Max Custom is to form a tight-knit team of real estate professionals that separate us from our competition with unmatched professionalism, customer service and experience,” said Liess, in a statement. “Currently we have half a dozen agents, and look forward to growing our team.”

Rochester’s largest ReMax real estate franchise merged Wednesday with the third largest area ReMax franchise.
ReMax Realty Group inked a deal with ReMax First of Greater Rochester, creating an agency with up to 150 agents.
The new office will retain the ReMax Realty Group brand, with the ReMax First office on Allens Creek Road in Brighton closing to move into ReMax Realty Group’s Pittsford office. The combined ReMax agency will retain its westside office in Greece.
