barrie homes: Barrie Real Estate - Boom, Bust or Echo? - 03/13/13 08:36 AM
Those who have been in the business of selling Real Estate in Ontario long enough to remember rolodexes and cellular phones that looked more like luggage than anything else like to recount the years 1989-1990 much like our grandparents talked about the dirty thirties. They talk about how by 1990 local real estate markets which had seen one record boom year after the next and everyone expected double digit increases in home values year after year, suddenly all came to a crashing halt. Many home owners who purchased in the previous couple years found themselves waiting another 10 or more years for (0 comments)

April through June usually sees an increase of up to 70% in the number of new homes hitting the market! This means more choice for buyers and more competition for you. Pre (1 comments)

barrie homes: Preparing for an Open House - 09/11/12 08:20 AM
Preparing for an Open House Matching buyer and property should be the primary goal of your Realtor. The most practical and time tested method of achieving that end is the open house. Whether the Realtor you hire is willing to do openhouses could be an indicator of the level of comitment they are willing to undertake on your behalf. The sale of a home can be a stressful and busy time for any homeowner which is why it is important to work closely with your Realtor if you are planning an open house. Your best approach is to ask as many questions as possible about what you (0 comments)
Don't ask me if the price of gold or silver will be up or down next year because I don't know. I couldn't tell you how future tropical storms or the psychological disorders of middle eastern leaders might affect the supply and price of oil in the coming years or whether RIM will bounce back or if Apple will finally begin to wilt on the vine. What I can tell you with certainty is that every Canadian here now or likely to move to our fine Country in the coming years requires a place to live. Real Estate has and will continue (1 comments)
