It has been an avalanche. It started slowly, and now was getting out of control.
My email is flooded with every get rich, sob story, buy this program or that program that will change your life ect....from anybody that can fire up a computer. Why would any marketer believe this will have a positive impact on the recipient???
About three weeks ago it started. At least that's when I noticed. Ten to twenty newsletters and how to "______" (you fill in the blank) email offers were coming at me, waiting patiently for me to open my outlook every morning.

 I want to say " Do I look that Stupid?"
                  Don't answer that!!!!
      Today I had an appointment to look at a house to purchase. The current tenants in the home want to stay, and knew  I was coming. They really would like to buy the house from us if we can make a deal. The home is very clean for the shape its in...The sellers say there is nothing wrong with the roof, electrical, and plumbing. Sounds good, lets get the inspection out of the way and set a closing date!!

Well, you would be right. Today I went to a seminar about how to invest in todays market. The Ladys' name is Paula Workman, and she is fantastic. A week or so ago  there was a post on Active Rain asking when it was appropriate to wear shorts while practicing Real Estate. I have thought about it since then, and still don't seem to agree that shorts represent a professional image that we should strive to maintain.

Where are You At...Are you on the phone, checking e-mail while driving, texting, thinking about what else needs to be done, all the while trying to look like you are having "quality time" with a friend, co-worker, or family member?
 Have you got to the point that you aren't where you should be any more??
Where are you at? Do you need to look around to find yourself? Probably not, but are you mentally where you are at? AAHHHH that's my point.

What a great day. Today was the first day I would be  working for with the new Real Estate Investment Brokerage, and it fell on the day of the monthly Chamber of Commerce Meeting. Its a small town, and this morning meeting was very well  attended, with nearly 70 members showing up for the event.

I am making a move to a brokerage that I feel can give me a mentoring one on one relationship. I feel this is what I need to go to the next level in investing and creative financing. . Its a move that will define my career, its the step I was wanting to make but was not ready to make by myself. Hey everyone, can I do a rant??Is there enough frustrating me to fill up a sentence or two? I'm chasing foreclosure cases full time now, and it's unbelievable how people will let a home go back for nothing, lose their credit, and be stuck with the deficiency judgment.
ButttttttNOOOOOOOO, we aren't in Foreclosure. We don't have any problems. Or We have talked to the bank, they are sending me a package to fill in. Sounds like a hardship doc pack, you know, the one you get when you start foreclosure.

So we are talking about Holiday Balance. Balance implies harmony. Serenity. Peace and Calmness. Not moving. Not moving!!!!! Not moving is dead. When you have problems be thankful if they are ones you can handle. Look around, everyone has problems, its just our perception that make the difference. No problems would equal perfect balance. Life in harmony. Daddy Dearest. Singing in the Rain!!
Cats and DOGS!!!! Oil and Water!!!
Balance is over rated if you ask me!
But that is perfect balance. There is nothing perfect about holidays. Holidays arrive to interrupt the slight balance that we had.

      Not the Santa Claus we remember, who made us all happy with love and a nice gift or two while we enjoyed a holiday with family and friends. Kids made homemade gifts for family, store bought gifts were an extra bonus.
The new style Santa Clause is the Credit Monster who bites and nibbles at your guilty feelings until we are running around from store to store trying to create a temporary euphoria that will come tumbling, crashing upon us later.

It had to happen. The unmovable object encountered the irresistible force.  I am talking about something I have been fighting for a year.  Or more ...Turning the sales page to something else because I didn't want to see how much less they were now. I was fearful of buying one that would be obsolete in a week or a month. Or That my friends (both of them) would make fun of me when the new, does more for less model came out the next day.

Or, Should I take the class rooms 2 week class or something longer?? What is the difference between the schools.

There's not much that can compare to being in a hot tub drinking coffee at 9:00 AM. 
It's 34 degrees in the outskirts of Gatlinburg,Tn and I find myself thinking "It's nice not to be working today." We are half way thru a lovely mountain vacation at our family cabin.
