Why are banks depending on Appraisers? - 07/21/09 04:22 PM
I am so confused that banks place so much confidence in appraisers before loaning money for a property.  The true appraisers are buyers in this market, not sellers, not banks, not what is owed by the seller, etc.  Auctions put buyer against buyer and let them compete for the property, which drives up the price.  The market can never come back if banks don't allow the prices to go up to what buyers are willing to pay.  Just a few thoughts...  www.sellwithauction.com
