A few weeks ago I got up at 5:30 a.m. for another Sunday run.  As Ironman Lake Placid nears (July 22, 2007), it's time to do some long workouts to prepare for that grueling day.
My current residence is near Iolani School in Honolulu, with a view of Diamond Head from the front door.  I love it here.
The run started off going through Kaimuki and up Kilauea Avenue in Kahala.  It's a 1-mile long uphill, three laps are good training for Lake Placid's rolling hills.  Then I continued to Wailupe Beach Park for some water, turning around and heading back through Kahala … (2 comments)
