RainIt's easy to write, right? That's why so many of us are here ~ to write and share and learn and interact with people who are in our line of business, with whom we have much in common.

A little more than two years ago, I started writing on ActiveRain. Business was slow and I had never written much and I found that I really liked the interaction, the camaraderie, the people, the lessons. So I dove in and joined the party.

I interacted enough that referrals started coming in. I interacted enough that people started finding me online. I interacted enough that business got so busy that there weren't enough hours in the day to sit down, much less to write a blog post.

After what seemed like months of being away from writing, a Newbie-sort of fear overcame me - What will I write about? How do you do this? Is the gang still here? Where do I start? Then the phone would ring and I would get distracted and it would be several days before I was back to wondering which of the stories I wanted to tell.

But the overriding motivation to keep coming back is ~ I MISS YOU GUYS! Not only are you like family, we have much in common. There is so much to learn, and I want to be here! And this is something that I don't want to give up on!

Of the eight deals I have closed in the past two months, five of them were a direct result of ActiveRain. Of the six that I currently have Under Contract, three are a direct result of ActiveRain. So I've found my umbrella and I'm heading home.
