For those of you who have some type of E-reader you know that if the book is not in an E-reader format you cannot transfer the book of your choice to your E-reader. The program Calibre solves that problem. It is a terrific program that will convert books from the format that you have on your computer to the proper format needed for your particular E-reader. You can then have Calibre send the book right to your E-reader.

I recently got a Kindle as a gift, and as someone who never goes anywhere without a book, I absolutely love it! For those who aren't too familiar with them they are 1/3 of an inch and weigh 10 ounces. They can hold up to 1500 books at any one time and receive them wirelessly in approximately 60 seconds. You have the option of turning the wireless off and on so it doesn't drain your battery. By keeping the wireless off you can read up to a week on one battery charge. How amazing is that?
