Part-time real estate administrative assistant/short sale processor to assist agent with high volume short sale caseload. Seeking an organized, detail-oriented, ambitious individual, with an interest in pursuing a career in real estate - position has much growth potential for the right person. Requires a high level of autonomy - must be self-managed and self-motivated. Excellent communication and customer service skills required as you will regularly interact with clients. 25 hrs/week - flexible hours. Work from home with periodical in-office meetings. Pay rate is $13-$15/hr to start, based on experience + strong bonus plan if/once licensed in real estate. Tuition provided for right candidate. $25-$30k/ first year. This is an independent contractor w-9 position.

Duties:
• Document collection/organization via Dropbox
• Compile/review short sale packages
• Submit packages to lender
• Enter data via Equator system
• Contact lender once/week minimum to follow up on files
• Escalate files as necessary
• Resolve 1st level short sale processing problems
• Schedule BPO's and appraisals
• Obtain short sale approval letters
• Coordinate short sale documents for closing
• Update status reports
• Occasionally perform ad-hoc admin tasks as requested
