A lot of my clients have more than just house debt...usually they also have credit card and other debt to add to the mix.
Once you start borrowing from one to pay the other, or keeping some up at the expense of the others, it's time to start considering your options and fast.
If you're falling behind on your home or not paying other creditors to pay for the home, it is only a matter of time before you start having collection problems.

Big Brother Screws Up Again - A Perfect Example of How the FHA Short Sale Program Falls Flat - 11/14/09 01:31 PM
The latest FHA short sale guidelines: Another well intentioned but terribly executed government program.
At first the FHA process seems like a great thing. You can get your short sale moving along right away for that elusive "pre-approved short sale". You'll know right away what will yield an acceptable net and there's no guesswork involved.
Sounds great - right? WRONG. Theres several MAJOR flaws in the program and it will ultimately just lead to more foreclosures.
