Some of the basics a beginner would want to know are:
How to select and purchase the essential fly fishing equipment like fly rods, reels, line, waders and fishing vests.

If I was to give advice to the seasoned fly fisherperson it would be to not limit yourself to lakes and streams but, be open to the challenge of ocean and backwater fly fishing. It can be a satisfying challenge.
