REALTORS make good neighbors! Janice Kaufmann and her husband Mark built a lovely home in our community, Tucson Estates II. It sits on a corner where the westerly view looks into Tucson Mountain Park. The wall isn't like any other I've seen. People in our community love to walk in the morning. As a teenager, I lived 350 miles back in the rainforest of South America's northern rim. We didn't have much, and if we needed something from "the outside," my folks had to plan for it. There were no stores in the jungle. No fruit easily available unless it was planted and harvested. No rice. No milk, unless it was powdered, canned and flown in on a tiny Cessna from the coast. Our BNI chapter meets every Wednesday for lunch. We gather specifically for the purpose of referring business to each other. Sean McMillan is our Sugar Daddy! No one in the chapter has any trouble referring themselves and their friends to this little gem of a business on the southeast corner of Broadway & Wilmot! That apron that Sean's wearing says I want CHOCOLATE and I want it NOW! You can relate, I'm sure.

Our Congress passed the Bail Out Bill in the middle of the night, having never read the damn thing. Nancy Pelosi is famous for having told us "Everything I do is for the children." Because the numbers nationally are so huge, we've become deadened to the amount of money that's being sucked out of our pockets. The average person can't relate to numbers with 12 zeros. One way to get things back into perspective is to look at specific instances of spending bailout money in this "crisis." That's what I want you to see in this morning's post. I'm going out on a limb at halftime. The Cardinals were about to take the lead or tie the game on the last play before halftime. Pittsburgh's #1 NFL defense did what they do so well. They scored a defensive touchdown. What Warner and the Cards are doing, though, is working, and I'm predicting that they will win the game in the next half.
