I haven't been blogging for nearly a week, and I have to say, I miss the Rain. My camera hasn't had a break, though. This evening, driving home from the third closing in as many days, (yay!!) I was singing as I came up the Ajo pass on my way home. Do you ever do that? Just break into song because your heart is happy?

He's been out of the world of competitive play for nearly a year. Tiger announced this week that he's fit to play, and he's chosen the World Golf Championship Accenture Match Play in Marana (a Tucson suburb,) to make his debut. What has he missed most in the past year? "The competition."
Tiger's good for business! When Tiger comes to play golf, real estate activity follows him. A Long Realty agent sold a near-million dollar house, and we did the lending on that last year when a fan from Indiana flew here to see Tiger play.

It's going to sneak up on you if you're not careful. The dates are February 23 to March 1st.
2009's Accenture World Match Play will be held at the brand new Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana, Arizona. Tickets are already on sale. Here's a link to get yours.
Tiger Woods won last year's match on a bum knee. He had surgery in June following his win of the US Open at Torrey Pines, and has been in rehab since then.
As the defending champion, will Woods make his return to competition here at Dove Mountain?

Pusch Ridge, at the western end of the Santa Catalina Mountains on Tucson's northern boundry, is home to the last of this area's Desert Bighorn Sheep.
The imposing granite escarpment that gives Pusch Ridge its name is extremely rugged. Its high, sheer rock faces make for good Bighorn habitat,
To see Desert Bighorns up close and personal, you'll have to visit one of my favorite Tucson destinations, the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum in the Tucson Mountains, just west of town. It's one of the worlds ten best zoos.
