I have chossen Aventura as my home. Aventura is a great place to live. Located in the northern part of Miami-Dade County this upscale neighborhood has great shops, new neighborhoods, parks, golf courses, and tons of restaurants. Aventura is located around Bisayne Boulevard, including Miami Gardens Drive, Ives Dairy Road, and Country Club Drive. In the heart of Aventura you'll find the Aventura Mall with Macy's, Bloomingdales, and an abundance of stores. Careful consideration of your housing needs and options are vital to your housing search process. Your financial needs, geographic location and personal preferences all play an important role in the selection of a rental unit. Overlooking any detail in your search can result in an uncomfortable circumstance. It is helpful to start with some initial guidelines; however, be prepared to reevaluate your choices as you encounter the housing market. As this year comes to a close, most of us are busy with the holidays, finalizing deals, preparing next year's business plans and so on. However, this weekend as I was completing the task of my 2008 business plan, I suddenly found myself reflecting on what had been accomplished this year. I must say that the year is closing on a much more positive note than I had anticipated. Although the market apparently did have a slump, I firmly believe that those of us who are serious about this business and have extended professionalism to clients and co-brokers alike will be (0 comments)
Would this be considered unethical? - 11/20/07 02:25 PM
Today I ran accross the strangest situation and I have run accross several situations in this business which could be considered slightly on the fence between ethical and unethical. I am not referring in this case to the multitude of occurances regarding sellers and buyers; instead I am referring to activities which affect your co-brokers in your farm area. I have seen less than ethical associates advertise units which are not exactly correct just to undercut the competitors ad, I have seen associates actaully copy others advertisements and pictures. But I have never experienced the following situation. Today, as I often do, I (12 comments)

I know that I am not the only one have this issue in my market / farm area.. Brokers and Associates who keep inventory on the MLS / Multiple Listing Service long after the unit is either sold or rented. What I am wondering is if other marklets experieince this same issue. How many of you have actually heard "Oh, I thought I had already taken it off the MLS." or "I asked my assitant to remove it, she must have forgotten to do so!", amazing how many associates can afford to have assistance in a slow market. Our MLS is our data (8 comments)
