Today I ran accross the strangest situation and I have run accross several situations in this business which could be considered slightly on the fence between ethical and unethical.  I am not referring in this case to the multitude of occurances regarding sellers and buyers; instead I am referring to activities which affect your co-brokers in your farm area.  I have seen less than ethical associates advertise units which are not exactly correct just to undercut the competitors ad, I have seen associates actaully copy others advertisements and pictures.  But I have never experienced the following situation.

COME ON LETS KEEP THE MLS UPDATED.................... - 11/05/07 04:17 PM
I know that I am not the only one have this issue in my market / farm area..  Brokers and Associates who keep inventory on the MLS / Multiple Listing Service long after the unit is either sold or rented.  What I am wondering is if other marklets experieince this same issue.
How many of you have actually heard "Oh, I thought I had already taken it off the MLS." or "I asked my assitant to remove it, she must have forgotten to do so!", amazing how many associates can afford to have assistance in a slow market.
