A deal going sideways was my exit cue as the SEO sales pitch approached minute 66 with their "closer".  Over an hour being sold on the wonders of being on page 1 of search engine search results for my choice of exclusive keywords for my territory, if available.  (How's that for a qualifier?)  Guaranteed results.  Detailed reports.  Special offers on a dwindling number of limited packages still available, reduced rates, free bonus services (e.g., a landing registration page and follow-up consultation), ...

Wronging a Right - 09/13/07 01:19 AM
Yesterday, I received the buyer's bank draft deposit made out to "RIGHTH AT HOME REALTY INC., BROKERAGE" -- note the misspelling of "RIGHT".  Fortunately, head office confirmed it would be ok.  But for a moment there, I was left wondering if the deal was dead, still alive, or just in limbo -- especially since the buyer had been given an extension (i.e., beyond 24 hrs of the Offer's acceptance).
Obligatory Tip:  Check your checks (cheques)
