Feel Your Emotions to Create a Life You Love - 11/30/09 10:24 PM
Feeling your emotions is very important if you wish to create a life you love. Many of us avoid feeling emotions we tend to think of as negative; for instance, anger, sadness, fear, hate, doubt, shame, jealousy, and resentment. These emotions (and others like them) become especially toxic when they are not fully experienced. Here are just some of the reasons why feeling your emotions fully is so important. * If you are not in touch with your unpleasant emotions, you cannot be fully in touch with the emotions we tend to think of as being positive, such as love, happiness, … (9 comments)

Interesting streaks in the sky - 11/15/09 07:15 PM

These pics I took this afternoon and the first two were taken just before dusk. Normally these streaks are caused by jets but I didn't hear any at either of the two different times that I took these. But as I looked at the second pic when I posted this I saw(on the left) what looked like the jet that may have done all the sky display that I caught with my camera.

The Power of Imagination - 11/14/09 10:12 AM
“You cannot depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.” Mark Twain Ask a successful person why he is successful, and you could get any number of answers. Some attribute their success to little more than luck. Others might believe that they owe their achievements to their fine education. Still others feel that they owe their good fortune to a helpful mentor or a loved one who encouraged them along the way. All of these things can contribute to success. But there's one thing that virtually all successful people possess, and that's imagination. Imagination is not given nearly … (10 comments)

Success without Limits - 11/12/09 06:15 PM
We all find areas where we can really compromise ourselves. We perfect that process and those patterns and it becomes second nature in how we live and what controls our lives. We repeat the same mistakes in the same areas over and over again, keeping us trapped and as the apparent shackles of our existence hold us in a pattern of frustration, confusion and unclear destiny. But opportunities for change are always present. Replace the sadness with an addiction to the successful YOU, regardless of circumstances. Find the successful YOU, which is within all of us, and bring him or her … (17 comments)

10 Keys to Finding Your Purpose and Achieving Your Goals - 11/09/09 08:11 PM
With my second job and the New Year right around the corner it got me to thinking about this year's goals and what I accomplished but also what I could have done better with.
Do you set goals, but never follow through with them? Do you have big dreams but don't know how to turn them into reality? Are you looking for a strategy to help you achieve your goals?

At some point, you may have heard of S.M.A.R.T. goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely. I tried this strategy a number of times and found the concept to be … (13 comments)

A Simple Way to Stop Procrastination Today - 11/08/09 10:46 AM
All of us are guilty of procrastinating at some point or another. I have personally been a BIG procrastinator but since working 2 jobs I have had to learn not to do that. With more time spent in the car in traffic I have used that time to listen to audiobooks and with reading previous books about "HOW" the power of the WAY you talk to yourself can make such a difference. Here is some of what I have learned.
We put off unpleasant tasks for as long as we possibly can simply because our mind tells us we don't want … (12 comments)

So as YOU can see we occasionally have more than sneakers, medical and teddy bears show up on our doorstep.
