history of saline: One Room School House in Saline,MI - 04/17/09 01:47 PM
Weber-Blaess School house was moved to the Saline District Schools Campus in June of 2002. It is  the original one room school house of children in Saline MI and Lodi Township. The school house is used by elementary school children to create the experience of a one room, county school house.

In the 19th century, Orange Risdon was attracted to what is now Saline, but at the time was part of the Territory of Michigan. He was surveying a military road from Detroit to Chicagoand was working at the request of the federal government.
