If you are a buyers agent and have a large short sale market as we do here in Melbourne Florida, you are waiting much to long when dealing with short sales.  Yes, they are a major part of our market.  However, if you can show your buyer the benefit of buying a resale or foreclosure over a short sale, you will enjoy commissions sooner than later.

How many short sales have you done in  your career so far?  Up until a couple of years ago, most Realtors, including myself, never really heard of a short sale.  Now this is a daily part of our language yet many Realtors still don't understand these listings enough.

If you are like me, you are sick and tired of working your butt off to help your buyers who insist on buying a short sale.  You and I both know that 65% of these offers never come through for our buyers yet when one falls apart, they are quite willing to try to get the next great deal!
