Every year for the last three years local businesses in Redding get all decked out for the Holidays and open their doors for Redding's Annual Holiday Shop Hop, an organization made up of small business owners whose mission is to raise the level of awareness of locally-owned "mom and pop" places while offering our community a truly unique shopping experience.
This year marks the 4th annual event where fourteen local shops participate and we want you to support them, so mark your calendar for some great food, fun and fabulous prizes!

In a recent office meeting we learned about all the new and exciting plans that are coming about with the new Stillwater Business Park, right here in Redding, CA.
Because the City of Redding is the developer, the motivation behind Stillwater is, very simply, quality employment opportunities for area residents and capital investment in the community. The vision for Stillwater is that it will be a magnet for companies seeking access to western markets. Office and industrial users will find an excellent workforce, excellent access to Interstate 5 and overall operating costs that are significantly lower than most urban areas.

A one-man show, Chet has served the Shasta County area since 1990. We met Chet last year and have hired him to do multiple jobs for us personally and our clients. We continue to refer him because HE'S GOOD! Actually, he's better than good, he's a perfectionist and gets the job done right.
He is insured and bonded and says his favorite part of his job is the people, he loves to service them. When asked about his "lease favorite" he said "pet problems" (he kind of laughs).

They're famous for their sizzling Trio Fajitas and their Baja Tacos. Su Casa Mexican Grill and Seafood Restaurant is gaining popularity very quickly for having been open just nine months. This is one hot spot we like to visit when we're craving their sea-bass fish tacos loaded with pico de gallo salsa and their secret taco sauce!
The "amigos" at Su Casa give outstanding service - even the chef smiles while he watches you savor his meals through the pass-through window. Thai food is one of our favorite foods and when it comes to food we're always trying out new places in search of real authentic food. We found one..., Redding's newest Thai restaurant. A small restaurant but oh so good! This place is authentic, delicious and very affordable!
Kanya Gardenopened its doors five months ago and is quickly developing a loyal clientele. Chef and owner Mouang Saechao (a long time Redding resident) is excited about her new restaurant and is ready to wow customers with her amazing dishes.

Are you new in Redding? One of the first questions we are frequently asked by visitors or those who are new in town "what type of restaurants we have". So, I looked at several websites and directories and found one that was pretty accurate and what I like best is that is broken down into types of food (Chinese, Mexican, Seafood, etc.). No, it's not a movie but it sure sounds like one. It's actually more exciting than a movie, it is the reopening of Grazellas, a cherished restaurant many of us have grown to love over the years!
Located in Colusa County (the town of Williams), a little less than two hours South of Redding, lies this Italian-Americano restaurant named "Granzellas". A fire incident (some kind of mechanical malfunction) burned the place down last October...shocking the residents and the rest of us who have made this iconic establishment our stopping point when traveling through Interstate 5.
