I saw this ad in my Sunday newspaper...it was about a waterfront piece of property, my first thought was ..."mmm-someone from that Community had called me weeks before and did not like their outlook of what I had shared price wise with them, they also were more than UPSIDE DOWN on their lot" ...I obviously did not list the property and told them they should talk to their bank or try and get an OK to do a Short Sale on the lot..then we could talk again... NOW...I am not sure it is them who put this ad in...but funny how

For the record, I am a REGULAR RE Agent(not just distressed sales people), I love homes that have plenty of Equity in them and that willing Sellers call me to list...except for 1 thing...I don't see alot of those selling right now...I have seen easily 15-20% of "NORMAL" listings turn to Preforeclosures, some of these homes, the Sellers never even mentioned it to their Realtors...until 2 months prior to foreclsoure when my Short Sale team was called in to help... I again will love the days that I get to bring a "NORMAL SALE" to closing, with no arguments, no biting fingernails
